Kulture Rebellion

Against the Grain, for the Gut. Redefining a Gut-Healthy Brand.

Deliverables:

Packaging, Branding, POS, Digital, Print

Kulture Rebellion is a fermentation-tech beverage brand redefining the “better-for-you” category with bold flavor, science-driven innovation, and a rebellious attitude, using its signature Brücha fermentation process. I led the evolution of early packaging explorations into a cohesive, system-driven brand and packaging identity. Rooted in a microbiology-focused strategy, I developed a high-contrast visual language anchored by a circular “microbial lens,” with evolving artwork unique to each SKU. The scope included packaging design, brand guidelines, POS materials, investor decks, merchandise, tray packaging, and digital assets for social, newsletters, and website design. The result is a flexible, ownable brand ecosystem that delivers bold shelf impact, clear product communication, and a confident foundation for go-to-market and future growth.

Process

Kulture Rebellion had a strong strategy on paper, but the identity hadn’t yet found a visual language to match it. I was brought on to evolve an early packaging exploration into a cohesive brand and packaging system. I started by auditing the brand’s positioning, audience, and shelf context to define the core challenge: how to introduce a completely new, fermentation-based beverage in a way that feels bold, ownable, and immediately clear in a crowded “better-for-you” category. I retained Sofia Pro, introduced a darker, more confident palette, and built a stronger hierarchy around the AI-generated “microbial lens” artwork, helping establish a visual language rooted in microbiology, fermentation, and innovation. The system separates impact from education: the primary display panel (PDP) drives recognition and value proposition, while the secondary display panel (SDP) explains the products benefits and flavour profile, within a flexible framework built to scale across SKUs.

Outcome

I developed a cohesive brand and packaging system that gave Kulture Rebellion a clear, ownable visual language and a scalable foundation for launch. The system extended across brand guidelines, POS materials, sell sheets, investor decks, one-pagers, business cards, merchandise, tray packaging, and a full suite of digital assets for social, newsletters, and website design, ensuring the brand shows up consistently across every touchpoint. Built to balance shelf impact with product clarity, the identity works seamlessly across SKUs and channels, giving Kulture Rebellion a strong, flexible foundation for go-to-market and future growth.
